Would you like a plan to get on the other side of the hurts and history which keep you from living well? Join with other women in a safe space for questions, reflections and compelling conversations on wellness. You will walk away with a personal definition of wellness (spiritual, social, physical, mental/emotional, cultural, or relational), and goals to help you reach wellness in your life. For more details, or to RSVP, email: mankatowomensevent(at)gmail.com. Sponsored by Advocacy for Victims of Abuse
However you define wellness, whether it’s spiritual, physical, mental, emotional, relational, or something else, the Women’s Wellness Event will provide conversations about wellness that are encouraging, uplifting and refreshing. Presenters Cathy Brennan & Renita Robinson have been on an amazing journey that will provide a path for you to build wellness into your life. Move forward by reflecting on your past, accepting wherever you are today, and recognizing that “God wants us to be well.”
Come and hear wonderful stories of the breadth of wellness that is available to each of us daily, and discover practical opportunities to start, renew or refine your wellness journey. God has a purpose and plan for every detail associated with who you are today. This is a space that offers sisterhood, support and positive reframes of the stuff that gets in the way of being well.
Centered in personal testimonials of the journey of life, we’ll share real examples of struggle, surrender and victory in Christ. Our time together will remind you that: you matter, you’re important, reframes are liberating, relationships define you, your life is an opportunity, and you are a beautiful reflection of your Creator. When women understand that they are “fearfully and wonderfully made”, individual lives, families and communities are healed. You are invited to wellness! We hope to see you there.
