Leaders: Tara Rustad and Monde Schwartz
The US currently has more people locked up than any other country in the history of the world. This small group will focus on learning about the history of mass incarceration in the US, the role of Christianity in its evolution, and how we as a church can actively participate in restorative justice. We will read Rethinking Incarceration by Dominique DuBois Gilliard and also help plan and present a Faith and Justice Learning Seminar on criminal justice reform in February 2020.
