What Now? Positive Parenting after a Pandemic

It's been a big, rough year and COVID continues to impact the mental health of both children and parents. We want to equip you to be a better parent and have more meaningful connection with your spouse as your family adapts to this unprecedented experience. Join us for a special presentation by Amanda Cook, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who works with adolescents, couples, and individual adult clients. She specializes in relationship therapy and body-oriented trauma work. Amanda will provide tools for all parents to be emotionally healthy, whether you feel as though things are going well at home or you could use some help.
This is a free presentation for you and your friends! Let’s start summer 2021 off on the right foot, with tools to help our families enjoy it even more.
Amanda will be presenting on Zoom, however, you can join either in person or online (email nextgen(at)crossviewcov.church for the Zoom link). If there are questions that you would like to have Amanda address, please send them to nextgen(at)crossviewcov.church and we will compile the most popular questions.

As we begin the season of Lent, all ages are invited to join us for a special Ash Wednesday service on Feb. 26. Part of the service will include the opportunity to receive ashes, which remind us of our own mortality and God’s grace and purification. There is no Crossview Kids or Crossview Students programming this night; families are encouraged to attend the Ash Wednesday service together.

Believer Baptism Class

If you’ve never been baptized, either as an infant or as a believer, we invite you to discover what baptism might mean for your faith journey! We’ll meet for lunch and a discussion on the history and significance of Christian baptism. After completing the class, you’ll have the opportunity to be baptized during the worship services on Sunday, June 25. Elementary-age students who want to be baptized must attend this class with aparent. Contact the church office (507-387-5606 or church(at)crossviewcov.church) to sign up.
